Kevin E. Thompson, CPA, Partner and head of the Accounting Department,  has over forty years of accounting, tax, and business advisory experience. Kevin began his career with a Big Four accounting firm, six years later he founded Thompson CPA, and in 2021, he formed Harik Thompson CPAs with Partner Patricia Bell Harik. With a focused approach serving the greater Southern California area from offices in Torrance and Santa Monica, CA, Harik Thompson CPAs specializes in serving the needs of Los Angeles’ thriving entertainment industry, real estate, and small businesses. As a Partner and head of the Firm’s Accounting Department, Kevin has significant experience in business formation and operations, trust and estate planning, personal income tax filing, and international taxation.

Kevin has been recognized by The Daily Breeze as the “Best of the South Bay.” His background includes experience as the Chief Financial Officer of a nationally renowned organizational development firm. As the owner of a family business, Kevin has entrepreneurial experience, and he also has investments in numerous real estate properties. As a corporate trainer and consummate educator, Kevin was inspired to launch The Small Business Academy to help small business owners and entrepreneurs.
